Muay Thai / Thai Boxing
Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is the national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand.
It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilizes the entire body as a weapon.
Muay Thai is extremely popular in Samui, with many specialized training facilities, attracting local and international fighters.
Chaweng Stadium has regular Muay Thai events, which are a must see spectacle when in Samui!

GOLF – Santiburi Golf Club, Maenam

Nightlife – Bars
Koh Samui provides for entertainment every night of the week. Along Chaweng Beach and the main shopping road of Chaweng you will find loads of bars, pubs (German and English pubs included) and some excellent nightclubs/discos.
You will also find many bars and pubs in Lamai, Ban Rak and Bophut. Also make sure to visit the local night markets (Walking Streets).
The biggest one is the Bophut/Fisherman’s Village walking street, every Friday from about 6pm.
Others include Lamai, Maenam and Chaweng.
Full Moon Party
The Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan is also a very popular party that many people visit whilst on Samui.
This all night beach party happens once every year (on a Full Moon Night). You can catch a speedboat transfer to Koh Phangan from the pier in Bang Rak
